Descripción y detalle de las actividadesSeeking a Production Manager for our new production facility. Facilities approximately 65,000 square feet and employes 400+ factory workers. We produce a wide variety of furniture products utilizing a broad range of materials. Solid wood, wood veneer, MDF, plywood, faux leather.Scope of Responsibilities- Manager will be involved with creating a seemless production process from front office to product delivery to client.- Processes to be managed include order entry, production documentation, scheduling, materials acquisition, inventory control, work in process, panel cutting, machining, assembly, upholstery, foam, and sewing.- Quality Control will be highly emphasized.- Manager must be knowledgeable of all safety requirements and be able to implement programs to ensure worker safety.- Woodworking experience (desired).- Analyze production data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, optimize workflows, and make informed decisions- Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance production processes, reduce waste, and optimize resource use.Experiência y requisitos- A minimum of 5 years management experience in the furniture industry (A Plus).- General knowledge of material strengths, fabrication principles and techniques for the range of materials mentioned here.- Efficiency and managing labor costs are high priority.- Experienced in various traditional woodworking machines. Examples include CNC beam panel saw, CNC Router. Background in basic programming of CNC equipment it's a plus.- Demonstrated solid knowledge of the processes involved with manufacturing these materials (Solid wood, wood veneer, MDF, plywood, faux leather.- Experience in Continuous Improvement Implementations.- Leadership skills to motivate and manage teams effectively in a fast-paced environment.- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and use insights to drive improvements.- Demonstrated ability in decision-making and strategic planning to achieve production targets.- Certifications in Lean Manufacturing desired.
