Tasks**Overview**:The ADAS LiDAR Systems group is involved in the definition and product develoment of Automotive Long and Short Range LiDAR sensors and related advanced vehicle sensing components. The system engineer leads the systems engineering activities and drive efforts through all project phases**Core Responsibilities**:- Elicits, analyzes, documents and validates the System requirements for a development project- Creates the System Requirement Specification ( according to required: quality, acceptance criteria, technical feasibility)- Analyzes and handles change requests- Discusses and clarifies System Requirements with the customer, by involving the Project Manager, System Lead Engineer and System Architect- Reviews System Requirements with affected disciplines (HW, SW including Algo part, Test,...) and documents the reviews- Baselines System Requirements, and releases them according to the project planning- Risk assesments for each release**Additional Responsibilities**:- Specification and prioritization of System requirements- Harmonize and agree the requirements with the System Project Manager and System Requirements Engineer of platform (especially deviations)- Ensuring reuse of generic requirements- Support of the project team in understanding the requirements- Management of requirements and implement changes requests in Specifications- Strong leadership to guide and assist other LIDAR team members to start and finalized efforts**Qualifications**:Basic Qualifications› 4+ years experience as system engineer or similar role› Bachelor's degree in an engineering field (computer science, electronics, telecom, mechatronics, optics)› Proactive, resilient, flexible and results oriented attitude› Fluent English (TOEIC Level 781-900 pts)› Analytical capabilities and good Communication skills› Proficient on Product Design V model› Experience in requirements analysis and management**› Configuration Management Tools knowledge**: DOORS, JIRA, etc.**› Experience on Communication Protocols**: Ethernet, CAN, etc.› Knowledge on Functional Safety› Knowledge on Problem Solving (A3, Fishbone, etc.)Preferred Qualifications› 8+ years as system engineer**› Knowledge on lab equipment**: Vector (CANoe, CANalizer, etc), multimeter, signal generator, oscilloscope, data logger.› Knowledge on in test techniques› Experience on Agile methodology**› Knowledge on XiL**: HiL, SiL, etc. (Simulation)› Knowledge on Cyber Security› Intercultural Experience› General knowledge of electronics.› General knowledge of optics/laser.› Collaborates effectively with others to achieve goals.› Learning agility; being curious and quick to learn.› Knowledge on Program Management (Certificated).**Benefits**:Flexible ArbeitszeitenKantineLebensversicherungGesundheitsvorsorgeReisekostenzulageGehaltsbonusKarriereberatung und TrainingsangebotMitarbeiter werben MitarbeiterAbout usContinental develops pioneering technologies and services for sustainable and connected mobility of people and their goods.
