Production Superintendent

**RESPONSIBILITIES**Manages directly the Sr. supervisors, supervisors and indirectly (Dotted line) all function related to the APU.- Monitor competences for his/her team and develops its autonomy (training plan building, follow-up & training actions implementation).- Ensure working standards are respected on its APU during the operations (safety, work instructions, quality, and respect of the product).- Ensure that standards of reaction are applied with rigor and perform escalation according to standards.- Lead daily, weekly & monthly meetings, and organize delegation.- Conduct annual appraisals, salary review, career interviews, succession planning & give feedback. Communicate a mindset of continuous improvement & responsibility vs. targets achievement inside its APU.- Be responsible for customer satisfaction.- Be accountable for SQCDP performance and profitability (gross margin) of his/her APU, in terms of targets achievement, and improvement- Ensure optimal use of equipment (OEE).- Assign & check corrective actions on recurring problems with APU and Plant support departments.- Escalate at Site level the issues that can’t be solved at APU level.- Validate monthly the demonstrated capacity of his/ her APU and communicate to SIOP / MPS.- Weekly commit on MPS.- Respect daily the MPS contract- In case of daily MPS respect deviation, take necessary measures to have respected weekly MPS at the end of the week.- Lead daily APU War room (SQCDP)- Lead workstation ergonomics risk analysis and elimination.- Lead every day gemba activities with his/her team, as TOP 3 issues countermeasures review.- Lead & review action plans to improve SQCDP performance (actual and targets).- Be responsible for Customer Line Return analysis and solving for products from his/her APU in front of customers.- Manage the VSM deployment plan Flow of his/her APU, ensuring that there are Flow Transformation workshops evolutions to simplify Operations.**QUALIFICATIONS**EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS**Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Manufacturing, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.- At a minimum of five (5) years of experience in manufacturing or engineering. Experience in Industrial, Automotive, Aerospace, Metal fabrication or similar industries.- MS Office (Word, Excel)- Desired Six Sigma Green Belt certified and exposure to Operative systems based on Toyota Production Systems.- Knowledge of MRP/ERP system.- Production and Processing — Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.- Mechanical — Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.- Administration and Management — Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**- No Special Physical Requirements **X**:- Light Lifting (5 Ibs.25 Ibs.)- Medium Lifting (30 Ibs. - 45 Ibs.)- Heavy Lifting (over 50 Ibs.)- Frequent Standing- Frequent kneeling / crawling / stooping- Frequent bending / twisting- Frequent climbing (stairs, ladders) Frequent driving (car, van, truck)**ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS**- Extreme cold (below 32*)- Extreme heat (above 100*)- Noise Level (Medium / High need to shout to be heard)- Working around moving machinery (fork-lifts, tractors)- Protective Equipment Required (earplugs, gloves, eyewear, respirator, mask, etc.) Work outdoors (no effective protection from weather)**TRAVEL TIME REQUIRED**(None, 10%, 25%, 50%, 75%)**_OUR CORE PRINCIPALS: _**_Safety.
