Position Responsibilities : The Product Information Management (PIM) Analyst will execute a structured approach to the collection, creation, and maintenance of master product data through product information management. This role is responsible for the integrity of the organization's master product data systems which include the Akeneo PIM, P21-ERP and various websites. Specific areas of impact include product data structure planning (taxonomy, attributes, etc.), PIM system development, product data collection processes, and product data governance. Collaboration will be critical to this role's success, working closely with Pricing, Website, Product Management, and Supplier Partners will be essential. Responsibilities include but are not limited to : Enhance item level data by identifying attributes, and descriptions for existing items and prepare data utilizing Excel spreadsheets for import to PIM. Creates, reviews, and approves product master change requests to ensure accuracy of data attributes. Manages data requests in support of business processes, new product sales initiatives, mergers & acquisitions, eCommerce initiatives and data for marketing collateral. Drives excellence and ensures continuous improvement in quality of data through cleansing and best practices for data construction. Provides input into the development of product information management data collection templates and attribute fields. Works collaboratively as a data steward within teams to ensure clear understanding of business requirements that are managed in concert with product information management data. Identifies opportunities to gain efficiency, automate, and improve data quality. Partners with cross functional stakeholders to support business needs. Performs other duties as assigned. Position Requirements : Confidence to work both independently and as part of diverse organizational group. Strong Microsoft Office Skills, (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) with specific focus on Excel. Strong sense of urgency, flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Skilled at multi-tasking and managing competing priorities. Self-directed individual who can work independently and yet collaborate with team members cross-functionally as necessary. Work review typically involves periodic review of output by and / or direct "customers" of the process. Excellent time management skills – Managing one's own time and the time of others. Demonstrated skills in data analysis techniques by resolving missing or incomplete information, inconsistencies / anomalies in more complex research.
