Processing billions of data points a day, Geotab leverages data analytics and machine learning to improve productivity, optimize fleets through the reduction of fuel consumption, enhance driver safety and achieve strong compliance to regulatory changes.**Who you are**:The Data Entry Specialist supports the Accounts Payable Team by preparing source data for computer entry.**What you’ll do**:This position reviews data for deficiencies and resolves any discrepancies and verifies all data and purges files to eliminate data duplication.**How you’ll make an impact**:- Prepare source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information; establishing entry priorities.- Process data by reviewing for deficiencies; resolving discrepancies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team members / managers for resolution.- Enter data accurately and keep data confidential.- Verify data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data; combining data from both systems when account information is incomplete; purging files to eliminate duplication of data.- Data records management.- Enter records for Investment Companies under supervision.- Support Geotab global strategic initiatives.**What you’ll bring to this role**:- 1-3 years of general office, administrative or finance role experience.- Quick and accurate keyboarding skills are required.- Understand logical processes.- Familiar with web-based databases.- Strong verbal and written communication skills.- Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem solve to well-judged decisions.- Exercise a high level of confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.- High accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.- Excellent proofreading abilities.- Able to work well under pressure and respond to fast changing priorities and deadlines.- Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.- A strong team-player with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization.- Technical competence using software programs, including, but not limited to, Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and Excel.- Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable in a flat organization.- Fluency in both English and Spanish (written, reading, and oral)If you don't see yourself fully reflected in every job requirement listed above, we still encourage you to apply.How we work:
