Our associates make the world more productive by improving the efficiency and reliability of the machinery that keeps industry in motion.**Purpose and Scope**- This position exists to support and service the manufacturing departments by providing a high and broad level of technical, administrative and theorical proved expertise. Provide manufacturing process expertise to the plant that focuses on raising the standard and/or modifying plant at area level production processes, production equipment, tooling, gauging, and in-process product designs for the purposes of maximizing production capacity, minimizing manufacturing costs, improving customer delivery, improving product quality, and/or eliminating safety concerns**Responsibilities**- 1. Process and Equipment Design- Lead the efforts in the installation, testing and the upgrades to, the latest, most value added equipment, controls, and technology, coordinating all the resources needed and complying with the corporate set standards with mínimal guidance.- 2. Process Improvements- Utilize manufacturing knowledge and expertise to help make decisions concerning operative staffing, process flow, and process layout- 3. Manufacturing and General Plant Support- Provide general administrative support to the Engineering Section Manager. Areas of support could include, but not limited to, quality control, cost analysis, business planning, and capital budgeting.- Interface with internal customers concerning product quality, delivery and service. Assist manufacturing associates in team problem solving and elimination of customer complaints and processing issues- 4. Operation and Maintenance Support- Assist Operation and Maintenance associates in diagnosing equipment failures and corrective actions.- Lead the communication and coordination with machine OEM, Corporate or external resources for advanced troubleshooting.**Technical/Functional Skills**- Strong technical and analytical skills demonstrated-- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills- Knowledge of heath treatment process, Tempering and Quenching of high carbon steels on batch furnaces or continues furnaces**Education / Experience**- Required - Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related with 5+ years’ experience in Manufacturing Plant.- All qualified applicants shall be treated equally according to their individual qualifications, abilities, experiences and other employment standards.
