**Miguel Hidalgo, Mexico City** | **On-site** | **Bilingual (English-Spanish)**We are seeking a **Senior Accounting Manager** with solid expertise in the **energy sector** to lead our accounting operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide strategic financial insights to senior leadership. This is a key role in a growing organization, offering the opportunity to shape and strengthen the company’s financial foundation.**Key Responsibilities**- Lead all accounting functions: general ledger, tax, reporting, accounts payable/receivable, and cost accounting.- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.- Prepare consolidated financial statements in compliance with **IFRS and Mexican GAAP (NIF)**.- Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements applicable to the **energy industry** (CRE, SENER, CNH, SAT).- Oversee external and internal audits; maintain strong relationships with auditors and tax advisors.- Implement and enhance internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures.- Build and develop a high-performing accounting team, promoting operational excellence.- Collaborate closely with Finance, Treasury, Legal, and Operations to support strategic decision-making.**Requirements**:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA or Master’s degree preferred).- **10+ years of accounting experience**, including at least 5 years in managerial positions within the **energy sector**.- Strong knowledge of IFRS, NIF, and Mexican tax regulations.- Proven experience in complex closings, consolidations, and working with Big Four audit firms.- Advanced English (bilingual proficiency required).- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.**What We Offer**- **On-site** role at our corporate offices in Miguel Hidalgo, CDMX.- Stable and growing company in the energy industry.- Competitive compensation package aligned with senior-level experience.- Strategic and visible position with real impact on business growth.**We are committed to creating an inclusive and diverse workplace.
