**Responsibilities**As an Engineering Designer, you will commit to find the best design solutions for all our vehicles, while looking to innovate and find more efficient ways to do your work and deliver our products. Team and collaboration are always a must.functional issues.- Creates/manages assemblies, drawings, motion files etc.- Locates, manages and Releases data in Teamcenter- Awareness of Foundation/Core Tools in FEDE (DFMEA, SCCAF, 5D's).- Design compatible build to print parts, assemblies and integrate full-service supplier sub-systems.- Design per functional requirements and design rules.- Design to meet program milestones deliverables.- Design to applicable CAD methods and standards.- Knowledgeable relative to responsible sub-system requirements.- Deep understanding of automotive design environment relative to sub-system.- Understands traditional manufacturing processes within automotive industry.- Understands traditional assembly and joining processes.- Proactively seeks out Design rules and functional requirements.- Shares status and issues without being prompted or required.- Proposes alternate feasible solutions.- Seeks out additional assignments.- Proactively identifies/develops/deploys efficiency ideas (tool and/or process improvement).- Actively participates in feasibility meetings.- Asks relevant and applicable questions and raises valid concerns.- Communicates in a clear and concise manner with an adequate level of detail.**Qualifications**- 1 to 5 Years work experience in the design/CAD area (automotive industry background preferred but not essential)- Engineering knowledge of Mechanical, Structural, Materials concepts.- Knowledge on Core Tool skillset (DFMEA, FMEA, APQP, PPAP, Systems Engineering)- Knowledge on Catia V5, Team Center, TcVis, BoM, Stack up, GD&T, Design for Assembly / Manufacturing.- Engineering degree on Automotive, Aeronautical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Robotics, Industrial or related disciplines.- Coursework in modeling software tools is desirable but not essential.**Responsibilities**As an Engineering Designer, you will commit to find the best design solutions for all our vehicles, while looking to innovate and find more efficient ways to do your work and deliver our products.
