Production Capacity Planner

**Production Capacity Planner**We are hiring a **Production Capacity Planner** who will lead, influence, negotiate and collaborate with manufacturing partners to ensure sufficient capacity to meet customer demands and enable optimum production levels.**What you will be doing**:- Collaborate with assigned team and across departments interfacing with suppliers and other functional organizations with routine frequency anticipating and effectively responding to the needs of the customer.- Establish strong internal and external networks.- Uses judgement and knowledge to recommend the best solution.- Make use of Lean Office tools, gather an analyze data to independently solve problems of moderate scope and complexity under limited supervision.- Lead well defined projects and provide guidance to team members on resolution.- Demonstrate leadership in cross-functional problem solving.**Who You Are**:**Required Skills and Competencies**- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related.- Deep understanding of Scheduling System logic is required.- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.- 2-3 Year experience in Scheduling.**Preferred Skills and Competencies**- Industry business acumen- Strong knowledge of the Central Scheduling operation and its impact on supportive business functions both internally and externally.- Proficient in developing specific detailed work instructions- Strong communication skills within team and cross-functionally as well as one or two levels higher in the organization; Strong facilitation, negotiation/persuasion skills.- Able to understand product lead times and work within product capacity constraints.- Strong team player.- Willingness to broaden knowledge in Lean Office processes and tools.- Able to use more complex SAP transactions and MS Office tools.- Strong problem-solving skills: Ability to diagnose and solve complex business situations and implement improvements; Demonstrate leadership in cross-functional problem solving; Demonstrate confidence when identifying problems and involving the appropriate people to help work towards resolution.- Exceptional customer focus.**Why people choose to work with us**:At Steelcase, we put people at the center of everything we do.
