EHS Specialist

As an EHS SPECIALIST, you will support the business to align with the EHS strategy according to corporate policies and strategies, ensure full compliance with Mexican regulations and corporate policies and strategies on Environmental, Safety and Industrial Hygiene always oriented to the protection of the physical integrity and health of workers, including associates, contractors, customers, suppliers and community, as well as facilities, company property and reputation of the company.**Key Responsibilities**- Own the implementation of the Ecology, Hygiene and Safety system including the applicable local and federal laws and the company's corporate requirements.- Ensure legal compliance in terms of Safety and Environmental Protection.- Supervise the accurate execution of high-risk work permits, pre-task risk analysis and align with Safety and Hygiene Commission tours.- .**Qualifications**- Demonstrated ability as EHS leader preferably in Tier 1 or Tier 2 metalworking plants.- Knowledge in Iso-9001, ISO-14001 system.- Chemical, environmental or industrial engineer.- Environmental and safety systems auditor.**ABOUT US**:**PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD****The PPG Way**Every single day at PPG:**We partner with customers to create mutual value.**We are insightful, dedicated and proactive.
