Emplacement : El Salto PlantReprésentant de l'acquisition des talents de Goodyear: SONIA NIETO**Position: Cost Control Analyst Sr.****El Salto, Jalisco - Onsite****Primary Purpose of the Position**:Analyst reports directly to the Cost Control Manager. Is responsible for performing cost accounting closing, inventory and budget control and support the factory in cost matters. Serves as technical supports for accounting policies and procedures, interacts with internal and external auditors, other external advisors and other areas of the organization.**Principle Duties and Responsibilities**:- Prepare the reconciliation accounts, analyze differences and add the support documentation, in accordance with company policiesRegistration of journal entries during the month and in the month-end closing process- Prepare the month-end closing activities to transmit accurate financials in accordance with the Regional and Corporate deadlinesPrepare the Final Cost determination- Give support to all the areas of the company, giving the information required in time- Prepare information and analysis requested by internal and external auditors- Prepared other information and analysis for special projects and cost studies according business decisions- Prepare Standard Cost calculation, Cost Reports, Manufacturing Indicators, control Plant Budgets, ensure proper Cost allocation to the material, support Physical Inventory process and other cost related activities- Prepare Cost Estimates and Annual Operation Plan (AOP)- Build organizational capability for innovation through training and other avenues- Continuously promote changes and innovative improvements on process, systems and business concepts to deliver profitable and sustainable growth opportunities to Goodyear- Internal and SOX controls performance and assessment of control design to ensure proper execution of the control.- Assessment of Surplus and Obsolete analysis of Raw material / WIP / Finish good / Spare part Inventory- Daily scale control, ensuring reception and shipment of materials from the plant have all the supporting documentation, and all the exceptions identified in the process are followed up accordingly by the users involved- Head of the repaired spare part management committee,- Support Capital Expenditures tracking, ensuring compliance with financial policies.- Analyze scrap and rework cost, working closely with operation team ensuring all waste are properly recognized- Head of Waste Management Warehouse, ensuring all waste received by the area and all removal from plant are correctly recognized and documented. Coordinate Schedule of removal with vendors of all waste and evaluate them with defined KPIs- Participate in Plant Optimization Manager pilars, identifying cost saving opportunities and carry-on saving projects. Control of in transit inventory, analyzing aging and follow up of old items.**Education**:- Required.' Undergraduate degree in accounting.- Desired: CPA and/or an MBA or advanced degree is desired.**Experience**:A minimum of 5 years of accounting, projects accounting or auditing experience (preferably in a large, public accounting firm or large manufacturing Company) Experience in consolidating data from multiple locations, whether domestic or international. Strong analytical skills, able to understand complex data and issues with demonstrated ability to think outside the box.- Knowledge of Mx GAAP’s and U.S. GAAP’s. 50% of English for speak, read and hear activities.- Team working experience in previous jobs.**Knowledge**:Good communications skills are required to have good relationships with other related areas and to get issues solved promptly.- Organize and method habits are part of the success in this position.- Focus on the detail of the operations is fundamental to guarantee that the capital and expenses are segregated appropriately and so the budget control is accurate.- Demonstrates ethical and moral behavior, unquestionable integrity, and character.- Ability to support accounting decisions with logical evidence and persuasively present position and respective journal entries.- Innovative attitude oriented ("Thinking out of the box") with proved experiences.LI-SN1
