And if that’s you we would love to have you join us**Job Description**:**SCOPE**:Supports engineering activities such as design, test, check-out, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electromechanical systems, experimental design circuitry or specialized test equipment. Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions. Assists in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions. Assists in the construction, test and check-out of test equipment. Uses manufacturing, test, development or diagnostic equipment, including, but not limited to, test programs oscilloscopes, signal generators and specialized test apparatus.**JOB SUMMARY**:Under the direction of a test engineer, supports and assists in the development, and implementation of cost-effective automated methods of testing and troubleshooting manufactured product including final assemblies and in some cases large systems testing. This test equipment consists of electrical, electronic, mechanical measurement and controls, mechanical fixtures and test software which are used in global manufacturing facilities to produce Rockwell Automation products.**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:- Assists in the creation of documentation on all aspects of the test solution:- Test specification to document product testing and coverage.- System BOM (Bill of Materials).- Create User’s guide to assist plant engineering with long term support.- Assists in CAD documentation gaining experience with Autodesk products- Assists in the construction of test solutions including:- Test Fixture wiring and mechanical construction- Control enclosure & panel wiring- Enclosure mechanical assembly- Soldering- Parts procurement and tracking gaining SAP experience- PCBA assembly- Construction Lab Responsibilities- Leads Lab Organization- Leads 5S activity**EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION**:- Typically three years of experience- Technical school work (up to 2 year); Associate Degree Preferred- CAD experience a plus- Knowledge of electronic hardware design processes and mechanical design concepts.- Self-directed and able to adjust to changes in priority and scope.- Excellent troubleshooting, analysis, and problem solving skills- Experience using Windows & Microsoft Office Suite- Good verbal communication skills**TRAVEL**- Some travel may be required, less than 10%, possibly international.
