Responsibilities Month-End Close Oversight: Oversee and manage the monthly close process, coordinating with various accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Process Optimization: Lead initiatives to streamline and automate accounting operations, identifying opportunities to reduce the close cycle and enhance efficiency. Framework Enhancement: Develop and implement scalable accounting processes and internal controls, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory standards. Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth flux analyses of balance sheet accounts, providing actionable insights and identifying trends to inform strategic decision‑making. Audit & Compliance Support: Collaborate with internal and external auditors, overseeing the preparation of audit documentation and providing comprehensive support throughout the audit process. SOX Stewardship: Ensure compliance with SOX requirements for accounting operations, playing a key role in maintaining a strong internal control environment. Strategic Initiatives: Spearhead special projects in Accounting / Finance, partnering cross‑functionally to address complex business challenges and drive impactful outcomes. Mentorship and Development: Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering their professional growth and development through regular feedback, coaching, and opportunities for skill enhancement. Problem‑Solving Excellence: Strong accounting research and problem‑solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving complex accounting issues. Detail‑Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment. Future‑Forward Thinking: A forward‑thinking mindset, with a commitment to continuous learning and the ability to adapt to evolving finance practices and technologies. Experience managing and developing high‑performing teams while fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment. Qualifications Language Proficiency / Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred. Experience: 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and multinational organizations experience, with a demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment. Leadership & Initiative: Proven ability to work independently, take ownership of projects, and meet deadlines with minimal daily direction from management to accomplish objectives and deadlines.
