**Essential Responsibilities**- Adaption of legacy designs to leverage modern manufacturing processes.- Contributing to root cause analyses of failures.- Developing best working practices in collaboration with the controlled title holders.- Capture, standardisation and delivery of design standards and methods to empower the global team.- Communicating within supplier and customers as required to support the business objectives.- Occasional international travel to suppliers and customers as required.**Qualifications / Requirements**- Master degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering focused on steam turbine technology.**Desired Characteristics**- Technical knowledge in the domain, covering steam turbine technology.- Strong oral and written communication skills.- Collaborative, inclusive, supportive and empowering behaviours.- Ability to work on several varied projects simultaneously; reviewing priorities and switching onto more urgent requests when required.- Strong understanding of mechanical analysis methods to ensure correct assessment of novel components.- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.- Pragmatic outlook.- Problem solving skills.**_ GE VERNOVA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
