THE JOB:The Puzzle Level Design Studio in Amber, focuses on delivering top quality design services for partners such as King, Rovio and Futureplay. As a Lead Level Designer, you'll manage a talented team creating delightful experiences that keep players on the edge of their seatsYOUR MISSION:- Lead a team designing world class levels for top game franchises- Oversee the team's process for creating levels that engage and challenge players- Work closely with our partners to align your team's work to the product vision- Use iteration, internal play tests, metrics and feedback to refine your team's work- Guide your team to implement creative ideas for new levels and create exciting "wow moments" for our players- Lead your team's learning and development, encouraging them to actively play casual puzzle games to hone their craftYOUR SKILLS:- 3+ years of experience as a casual game level designer, or equivalent background- Professional experience as a team lead with excellent management soft skills- Expert understanding of free-to-play and puzzle design fundamentals- Exceptional instincts for game design with the ability to create fun game play- Proficient English with outstanding verbal, written, and visual communication skills- Collaborative spirit and love of teamworkOUR OFFER:- Competitive salary and benefits package- Chance to advance your career at a fast growing company- Extensive support for your continued learning and development- Community-oriented culture that supports giving back to make a differenceOUR WORK ENVIRONMENT:
