Where no two days are the same.**YOUR ROLE**Specialized CAD engineer to design and release CAD models and drawings (using CATIA v5 and v6) of parts that provide protection, guiding and fixing of harnesses or electromechanical components.- Design and release of **wire harness components**including plastic shields, metal brackets and grommets to meet routing and retention requirements.- Design and modification of 3D models in CATIA- Design 2D engineering and manufacturing drawings per EDS guidelines- Cost and quality tracking- Suppliers management for product/process qualification (PPAP agreement)- Design for manufacturing following DFMEA, boundary diagram, clash avoidance and design rules- Generate part numbers, create RFQsManage tooling manufacturing with suppliers to meet requirements**YOUR PROFILE**- Good conversational **English**(B2, C1, C2)- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics engineering or equivalent- **4-6 years**of relevant experience- Experience in **3D and 2D design with CATIA v5 and 6**:- Experience with **PPAP managing suppliers**for automotive products delivery- Experience with **DFMEA**:- Strong interpersonal and **collaboration**skills- Experience in **plastic and metal parts design**:- Experience with **PLM SW**such as Teamcenter- Experience with **wire harness parts**:- Experience with **automotive 3D and 2D design guidelines**Experience in communicating with technical stakeholders to collect and clarify requirements**WHAT YOU WILL LOVE ABOUT WORKING HERE**- At Capgemini Engineering, we encourage flexibility in how, when, and where people get their work done, allowing a better work-life balance, and greater empowerment.
