**TITLE**: Engineering Manager**FUNCTION**: Provides technical support for the manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, and tooling support functions.**RESPONSIBILITIES**:- Direct, review, or approve project design changes.- Manage the coordination and overall integration of technical activities in architecture or engineering projects.- Present and explain proposals, reports, or findings to clients.- Develop or implement policies, standards, or procedures for engineering and technical work.- Consult or negotiate with clients to prepare project specifications.- Confer with management, production, or marketing staff to discuss project specifications or procedures.- Assure and maintain safe and healthful working conditions while enforcing safety rules and regulations.- Review engineering changes to coordinate design changes, correct process drawings and routings for modifications, and ensure implementation on production floor.- Maintain an awareness of technical progress in production processes, tooling methods, and equipment to seek improvements to production delivery.- Recommend and coordinate implementation of product and process changes to reduce costs/or improve manufacturability and product quality.- Responsible for any other special projects as assigned.**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical engineering or equivalent- At least 5 years’ working experience as a Manufacturing or Process Engineer- At least 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment- Ability to perform mathematical calculations- Proficiency in Microsoft Office- Excellent written and verbal skills- Self-motivated and well organizedTipo de puesto: Tiempo completo, Por tiempo indeterminadoSalario: A partir de $1.00 al mesHorario:- Turno de 10 horas- Turno de 8 horas- Turno matutinoPrestaciones:- Apoyo para estudios- Caja de ahorro- Opción a contrato indefinido- Seguro de gastos médicos- Seguro de gastos médicos mayores- Seguro de vida- Uniformes gratuitosPregunta(s) de postulación:- Visa y Pasaporte vigentesEducación:- Licenciatura terminada (Deseable)Experiência:- Manufacturing or Process Engineer: 5 años (Obligatorio)- supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment: 5 años (Obligatorio)Idioma:- Inglés (Obligatorio)Lugar de trabajo: Empleo presencial
