Packaging Manager

Título: Packaging Manager The incumbent is primarily responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the activities of production department operations which also includes performance of all functions within the department. All job duties are to be performed in accordance with the company’s Principles of Ethical Business Conduct. Requisitos Bachelor’s or associate degree from a college or university. At least 5 years related experience in a managerial role; or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least 5 years of Die Cutting and Folder gluer experience (40″ format and 57″ format) with brands such as Bobst, K & B, Iberica, SBL, Brausse, and others. Excellent interpersonal communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Mail, Word, PowerPoint) and Internet Explorer. Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency; ability to speak English as a second language and read/comprehend complex topics. Experience conversing with corporate, sales, customers, and suppliers. Responsabilidades Manage and report to the VP of Operations all process performance KPIs and P&L targets each month, and deploy these targets to the next organizational levels. Lead, coach, mentor, motivate, and inspire direct reports to achieve optimal performance by demonstrating role model behaviors such as sense of urgency, accountability, effective communication, teamwork, empathy, results orientation, and time management. Maintain employee awareness and adherence to ISO standards, procedures, and all Social Responsibility codes (internal and external). Participate in and satisfactorily complete all required training programs, including Compliance Training. Evaluate and provide training as needed, establishing a long-term training strategy. Conduct annual performance reviews for direct reports in a timely manner and recommend compensation increases following predetermined guidelines. Support an open-door policy and positive counseling process to correct behavioral or performance issues. Maintain a clean facility environment that enhances plant safety, ensuring equipment is maintained and operated safely. Implement and maintain the “Hour by Hour” floor performance lean culture. Have an effective and efficient escalation process at all levels. #J-18808-Ljbffr
