DEVELOP AND EXECUTE A COMPREHENSIVE BUSINESS PLAN- Lead business plan/tactics to reach overall global targets on a day-to-day basis- Lead global teams in all Regions in developing commodity strategies and sourcing recommendations for specified commodity, considering regional specifics. This also includes early Supplier Engagement and Strategic Sourcing- Oversee, monitor and coach employees in different locations and build effective global team- Collaborate with Engineering, CCA and other internal partners to clarify prerequisites and to drive cost reductionOPTIMIZE SUPPLIER FOOTPRINTHANDLE SUPPLIER RELATIONSHIPS AND OPERATIONAL ISSUES**Additional Job Description**:- Bachelor’s degree required, master’s optional but not sure the educational levels in Mexico vs the US- English level - proficient to very proficient due to the engagement with the global team and US team- Travel 25%-50%, some to the US and through Mexico- Specific knowledge: Commodity-specific knowledge in thermoforming process and injection and blow molding. Understanding of global market for the carpet, acoustic and trunk trim commodity, including supply and demand factors, price trends and market drivers. Experience in negotiation and contract management.This position requires the ability to legally operate a motor vehicle on a regular basis.
