Summary of Position:The Test Expert will work closely with the Product Owner(s) and solution teams on defining User Story test criteria, authoring test cases, executing various phases of testing (including OQ/PQ & regression), and automating test cases whenever possible, with the goal of producing a high-quality solution and the best user experience possible for our customers.Key Responsibilities:- Perform various phases of testing, including; unit, system, integration, regression and functional testing and acceptance- Ensure that all required testing deliverables are created including testing approach, testing scenarios, conditions and expected results, acceptance criteria and test scripts- Execute formal review cycles including informal review, formal review, testing sign-off and quality assurance review- Manage test environment and test data, as well as integrated systems test data- Ensure Agile User Stories contain appropriate acceptance criteria and regression testing requirements, prior to releasing into the backlogKey Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, MIS or Business Administration or a related field- At least 3+ years of applicable testing experience- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in utilizing Agile development methodology- Minimum 1+ years’ experience in Atlassian toolsets (JIRA, Confluence)- Minimum 3 years of experience in RDBS/SQL- Minimum 1 year of experience in Python or Java- Basic knowledge of automaton testing- Preferred Bigdata/ETL/SSIS background- Preferred AWS cloud knowledge- Prefer experience in Tricentis’ Tosca Automated Testing software- Prefer experience in Tricentis’ QTest Test Management software- Prefer Cross-platform integration testing experienceWork hours: 12 AM to 9 PM ISTRelocation assistance: YesIf you have encountered a job posting or been approached with a job offer that you suspect may be fraudulent, we strongly recommend you do not respond, send money or personal information, and check our website for current job openings.ATTENTION: Current Alcon Employee/Contingent Worker- Find Jobs for Employees- Find Jobs for Contingent WorkerAlcon is an Equal Opportunity Employer and takes pride in maintaining a diverse environment.
