Control and Automation Engineer

As a Control and Automation Engineer , you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining control systems that automate industrial processes, enhancing productivity, quality, and operational safety. This position reports to the Automation Manager. Key Responsibilities Ensure proper operation of the plant's Distributed Control Systems (DCS) by executing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities. Guarantee the correct functioning of the plant's Safety Instrumented System. Implement instrumentation and control projects focused on process safety, EHS, productivity, and operational efficiency. Ensure the availability of spare parts for critical equipment. Participate in audits related to life-critical rule protocols. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Control and Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical or Electronic Engineering with a specialization in control systems. Minimum of 2 years of experience working with Distributed Control Systems (DCS). Proven experience in operating and managing control systems in continuous production environments. Knowledge of integrated Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) and Interlocks SIL1, SIL2, or SIL3.
