Develop and update procedures. Conduct tests and inspections to ensure product quality. Collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives. Mechanical Engineering (Or related fields: Mechatronics, Electronics, Electromechanics) Requirements Currently pursuing an engineering degree with at least 1 year remaining until graduation. Strong skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and schematics. Soft Skills: Proactivity Willingness to learn Ability to prioritize tasks effectively Preferred Experience with Power Apps and Power BI. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles. This role oversees a team of engineers and partners closely with Operations leadership to optimize processes, improve productivity, reduce costs, and deploy advanced technologies. The ideal candidate brings strong strategic thinking, hands-on problem-solving capability, and a proven ability to lead transformation in a high-growth manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Develop, communicate, and execute the Industrial Engineering strategy aligned to site and global business objectives. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of industrial engineers across multiple shifts or sites. Champion a culture of continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and operational excellence. Influence cross-functional leaders and drive alignment for engineering initiatives and improvement programs. Process Optimization Analyze workflows, material flow, and production lines to identify improvement opportunities and remove waste. Conduct time studies, line balancing, capacity analysis, and ergonomic assessments to ensure optimal performance. Define and implement standardized work, manufacturing best practices, and performance metrics. Lead Kaizen events and structured problem-solving sessions (A3, DMAIC, 5 Why, etc.). Technology & Innovation Evaluate, introduce, and deploy automation solutions, advanced manufacturing technologies, and Industry 4.0 tools. Utilize data analytics, dashboards, and simulation models to predict bottlenecks and optimize plant performance. Support digital transformation initiatives, ensuring successful adoption of new technologies. Cost, Productivity & Capital Projects Deliver measurable improvements in labor productivity, throughput, cycle time, and operational cost reduction. Lead layout redesigns, capacity planning, and process flow optimization for current and future state operations. Support capital investment projects including ROI analysis, layout creation, and equipment specification. Drive cost-saving initiatives through waste elimination, efficiency improvements, and automation. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with operations, quality, maintenance, supply chain, and engineering to ensure seamless execution of initiatives. Provide industrial engineering support for New Product Introduction (NPI), new equipment installation, and plant expansions. Act as a strategic partner to leadership, escalating risks and proposing solutions with strong data-driven rationale. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred. Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Industrial Engineering roles within a manufacturing environment (high-mix/complex operations preferred). Proven experience leading engineering teams, ideally across multiple sites or a large-scale operation. Strong expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt preferred), and continuous improvement methodologies. Demonstrated success driving large-scale productivity and cost-reduction initiatives. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and program management skills. Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish (bilingual required). The Service Engineer is responsible for installing and servicing a variety of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), machine tools, and accessories. Key Responsibilities Responsible for the installation and machine maintenance, which includes diagnosis, repairs, certification and re-calibration of various machines at the customer sites, to conform to factory specifications and accuracy standards. Performs service calls at customer sites to correct problems involving company products, diagnoses and corrects the problem, and performs related duties to customer satisfaction. Provides technical support to other service representatives and customers. Ensures prompt preparation and completion of service and expense reporting related to assigned duties. Provides the highest customer satisfaction while representing Hexagon in a professional manner. Supports organizational policies related to safety, environmental protection, housekeeping, etc. within area of responsibility. Supports and participates in continuous improvement activities that positively affect safety, the environment, quality, reliability, and productivity or improve the overall suitability and effectiveness of the management system, its processes and products. The design, documentation, testing, creation or modification of computer programs related to machine operation. Technical duties include tasks that are both mechanical and electrical. o Mechanical duties include assembly, disassembly, leveling, diagnosis and repair of mechanical issues on automated equipment. o Electrical duties include diagnosis, troubleshooting and repair of control systems. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., mechanical engineering, electronics, or computer science). 4 years of field engineering experience Prior experience with CMM machines or other industrial automation is a plus. Requirement Solid knowledge of 3D CAD. Minimum of three years mechanical, electrical, computer, and software experience Prior experience working with hand tools and basic electrical test equipment is essential. Microsoft operating system knowledge is required. Mechanical, electrical, and software troubleshooting skills are highly desired. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
