About DECODE.AI We're building the AI education platform for Latin American executives. We're scaling fast and need a senior engineer to turn our MVP into a production-grade platform. Mission Take MVP-level code and logic and turn it into a scalable, secure, production-grade platform that can safely support real users, real data, and real money. This role owns infrastructure, backend architecture, databases, and security boundaries. Required Experience (Non-Negotiable) 5+ years in backend/platform engineering Proven experience with scalable system design Deep PostgreSQL or similar relational database expertise Experience designing data models for scaleStrong understanding of data isolation, permissions, and RBAC Experience securing systems handling sensitive data Track record deploying and operating production systems Harden MVP code for production scale Design and manage backend architecture Choose and manage databases correctly Ensure strict data isolation and security Integrate backend systems with n8n automations Build scalable foundations for future team growth Ensure the platform can safely evolve beyond MVP This Role Is NOT For You If: You're a junior or mid-level developer You're a general \"full-stack\" looking to learn infrastructure You need to learn infrastructure on the job You can't independently design secure systems Security-first is not your default Paranoid about data leaks Think long-term, not quick hacks Takes full ownership of platform stability What We Offer High-impact role in fast-growing startup Work with cutting-edge AI technology Seniority level Entry level Employment type Full-time Job function Information Technology Industries Business Consulting and Services Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at DecodeAI.io by 2x.
