We adapt, innovate and simplify to achieve “stability, speed, and scalability in order to achieve SAP “growth and margin” business objectives. To run a highly scalable and secure IAAS platform and provide automation services to all lines of business across SAP, we leverage technologies from VMware, OpenStack, and required management tools/processes on top.Challenge yourself in the fast-paced world of cloud infrastructure and become an integral part of the group that directs SAP’s strategy to move to the Cloud. Work in a globally diverse and innovative team where courage and originality are rewarded and for a company where you are encouraged to make the decision on which path your career should take you.**What you will do**- vSphere Support operations of complete IaaS Service on a global scale, take care of daily operations- Understand the architecture of SAP’s Converged Cloud platform (OpenStack, Ansible Automation, VMware, EMC, Arista, Cisco, etc.) and deliver 3rd Level expert cloud operations support.- Work as part of an agile DevOps team and drive assigned topics from an operations point of view.- Implement Compute infrastructure-related changes, collect customer requirements, group and prioritize them, and collaborate with the cloud platform development and architecture team- Experience in running cloud infrastructure environments from an end-to-end perspective, covering compute, network and storage up to hypervisor and cloud platform level- Change, Incident, Problem and Escalation management- Drive continuous improvement & enhancements for the cloud platform and the operations**What you bring**- Proficient technical knowledge with regards to virtual infrastructure including VMware vSphere/Cisco/EMC/Arista and other virtualization products to support SAP’s Cloud offerings- Proficient knowledge in virtualization, especially vSphere management, including Linux know-how- Demonstrated automation and programming skills - Python and Ansible- Automating cloud infrastructure tasks is a key enabler for the team- Experience working in large-scale datacenter/cloud/network environments- Bachelor in Engineering, Computer Science or related area.- Excellent communication and analytical skills- Ability to work in a distributed organization of highly motivated and qualified individuals- Drive for and focus on results and execution- Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines- Strong presentation and communication skills at all levels, including written and verbal- Good Team player- Experience working in cloud infrastructure.**Preferred skills**- Knowledge of OpenStack Core is highly beneficial- Experience regarding DevOps and the agile development methodologies- General knowledge about various SAP solutions and products like HANA, ERP and/or BW**Bring out your best****We win with inclusion**SAP’s culture of inclusion, focus on health and well-being, and flexible working models help ensure that everyone - regardless of background - feels included and can run at their best.
