Descripción y detalle de las actividadesOversee the financial operations of our Juarez, Mexico facility. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with Mexican tax regulations, supporting maquiladora operations, and managing cross-border financial activities.**Key Responsibilities**:1. Financial Oversight and Internal Controls:- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with both local and international financial regulations.- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for both Mexican operations and US headquarters.2. Cost Accounting and Budget Management:- Oversee cost accounting, including tracking production costs, inventory valuation, and variance analysis.- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial performance analyses to support business objectives.3. Mexican Tax Compliance and Reporting Support:- Provide accurate financial data and supporting documentation to external advisors for the preparation of tax filings, including:- VAT (IVA) reports, Income tax (ISR) calculations and IMMEX program compliance- Ensure timely responses to requests from Servicio de Administración Tributaria (SAT) during audits or reviews.- Collaborate with external tax advisors to align with local tax requirements and maintain compliance.4. Maquiladora Operations and IMMEX Compliance:- Support IMMEX program reporting requirements, including inventory control, import/export documentation, and VAT certification.5. US and Cross-Border Financial Coordination:- Provide financial reports and analyses to support cross-border operations and decision-making.- Align financial reporting practices with both US GAAP and Mexican compliance requirements.6. Audit Coordination:- Prepare and provide documentation to support external audits conducted by SAT, IMMEX program reviewers, and corporate auditors.7. Collaboration and LeadershipExperiência y requisitos- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
