Lead Java Developer (Identity Protection sphere) Locations Mexico Company Background The client is a technology solutions provider specializing in AI integrations for enterprise clients. In this role, their AI technology will be implemented for Princess Cruise Line, one of the world’s leading cruise companies. The client delivers advanced software and AI capabilities through collaborative cross-functional teams. Project Description The project involves the integration of AI-driven software into the client’s systems for Princess Cruise Line. The Tech Lead will collaborate closely with the client's engineering leadership, the team, and development teams to lead multiple software initiatives. The Tech Lead will be responsible for driving delivery, maintaining technical alignment across efforts, and acting as the key liaison between all engineering and stakeholder groups. Technologies Java Spring Framework What You'll Do Oversee the technical execution of all deliverables for assigned teams, ensuring that software meets both client requirements and internal quality standards. Act as the primary technical point of contact for the client, ensuring alignment on technical direction, delivery timelines, and system architecture. Collaborate with architects and product stakeholders to produce scalable, maintainable, and well-documented system designs. Mentor and support engineers, reviewing code and offering architectural guidance. Engage in hands-on problem-solving and assist teams with complex development challenges. Collaborate with QA, product owners, analysts, and architects to ensure cohesive integration of all product components. Identify and address technical risks, manage technical debt, and implement improvements to team workflows and engineering practices. Job Requirements 5+ years of experience in a Tech Lead, Engineering Lead, or similar role within enterprise software development. Proven, hands-on experience with Java, Spring, and building microservices-based architectures. Understanding of Salesforce architecture and custom solution development is highly desirable. Demonstrated leadership in managing development teams and delivering high-quality software projects end-to-end. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong ability to manage client relationships. Must be able to work during U.S. time zones (preferably East Coast). English level: B2 or higher, both spoken and written.
