We aim to be where the growth is, enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper, and, ultimately, helping people to fulfil their hopes and realise their ambitions.We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of **Manager Business System.****Principal Accountabilities**- Managing a technical team of individuals ensuring management best practices are followed in delivery of prioritized initiatives- Functional management of the team that support the US Finance- Managing staff demand and throughput- Supporting annual planning both operational and functional- Provide support and guidance to Project Leads- Support US Finance in driving towards global standardization- Work in an agile environment that requires reacting to changes quickly- Must be able to work independently and have intellectual curiosityRequirements**Requirements**:- Fluent in written and Oral communications in English- Bachelor’s Degree required, engineering/technical degree preferred with 5+ years of relevant IT experience.- Minimum of 2 year leading a team Functionally or as Line Management- Experience in a managerial/Lead role within a matrix organization including experience of managing a geographically dispersed teams- Hands on Project management experience. Must have led projects with span of control over Time/budget & Deliverables- Must be willing to Program Manage multi-tier technology projects- This position requires managing people & programs that are in a multitude of technologies and platforms. They include Mainframe, Peoplesoft, Google Cloud Computing & Qlick Sense.- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills- Experience in leading MF to cloud migrations preferred- Project Management and GCP Certification is plus- Working experience with DevOps & Scaled Agile preferred- Enthusiastic, high-energy individual, self-motivated, people-oriented and self-directed- Ability to build strong relationships and communicate with a wide spectrum of stakeholdersAt HSBC we offer our colleagues a greater number of days so that they can fully enjoy their wedding, take care of the new member of the family, or grieve the loss of a family member.
