About Us We are a young (early-stage, "start-up"), dynamic, international, vertically integrated trading company revolutionizing digitally native multi-market product development, sourcing, and B2B and D2C distribution. Our success depends on sophisticated financial management, precise intercompany accounting, and strategic cash flow optimization across our international operations. Position Overview Key Responsibilities Financial Management & Reporting_ Maintain accurate books for multiple entities, ensuring proper financial reporting and reconciliations. Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements. Ensure compliance with accounting standards in the US (GAAP) and Mexico (NIFs). Support month-end and year-end closing processes. Work within the ERP system (Odoo preferred) to enhance financial tracking and reporting. Accounting Operations_ Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation. Oversee intercompany transactions and eliminations. Assist in implementing internal controls for efficient financial processes. Ensure proper documentation and organization of financial records. Cash Flow & Budgeting_ Support cash flow forecasting and working capital management. Monitor spending and assist in budget variance analysis. Assist in operational budget tracking to align with project needs. Process Improvement & Cross-Functional Coordination_ Collaborate with sales, logistics, and operations teams to improve financial processes. Contribute to the development of best practices for financial operations in a startup environment. Support the CEO with financial insights for strategic decision-making. Qualifications Required Skills & Experience : _ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in accounting or financial management (startup experience is a plus but not required). Strong understanding of GAAP and NIFs accounting standards. Experience with financial software or ERP systems (Odoo preferred but not required). Proficiency in Excel for financial modeling and reporting. Adaptability and willingness to take on a broad range of responsibilities. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
