We are in search of a highly skilled Senior Cloud Platform Engineer specializing in AWS Cloud, CI/CD, Python, and Bash to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in building, scaling, and maintaining an enterprise‑grade self‑service platform that supports the entire SDLC. Leveraging your expertise in cutting‑edge AWS technologies and automation best practices, you will empower development teams to build, test, and deploy seamlessly while ensuring operational excellence and security. Responsibilities Design and maintain a scalable, self‑service SDLC platform using AWS, Python, and Bash scripting Integrate diverse AWS serverless and PaaS services to streamline development, testing, and deployment processes Leverage CloudFormation, AWS CDK, Terraform, and SAM for automated resource and infrastructure provisioning Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Bamboo CI, Jenkins, or similar tools to enhance release efficiency Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand and address evolving platform requirements Establish best practices for AWS Cloud services, CI/CD workflows, Python, and Bash scripting within the organization Monitor and manage platform security, performance, and availability, ensuring compliance with industry standards Continuously explore new technologies and approaches to enhance the platform's capabilities Provide support and troubleshooting expertise to development teams, fostering a collaborative engineering culture Requirements 3+ years of production experience in cloud platform engineering, focusing on AWS Cloud, CI/CD, Python, and Bash scripting Proven expertise in deploying and managing AWS Cloud services and their integrations with CI/CD tools Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and Big‑O time complexity Background in solving medium‑complexity algorithms (e.g., LeetCode) and ability to pass live coding interviews Strong knowledge and practical experience with CloudFormation, AWS CDK, Terraform, and Serverless Application Model (SAM) Proficiency in configuring and managing CI/CD pipelines using Bamboo CI, Jenkins, or similar tools Expert‑level skills in Python and Bash scripting with hands‑on development experience Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes Strong problem‑solving and debugging skills alongside excellent communication and teamwork abilities Flexibility to engage with global teams during a 9‑11 AM CST time window Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, at least at a B2 level Nice to have AWS Solutions Architect Professional and/or DevOps Engineer Professional certification Demonstrated experience building self‑service platforms for large‑scale, global organizations Familiarity with other cloud platforms, such as Azure We offer International projects with top brands Work with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peers Employee financial programs Paid time off and sick leave Upskilling, reskilling and certification courses Unlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000+ courses Global career opportunities Volunteer and community involvement opportunities EPAM Employee Groups Award‑winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and LinkedIn Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Full‑time Job function Business Development, Information Technology, and Engineering Industries Software Development, IT Services and IT Consulting, and Venture Capital and Private Equity Principals #J-18808-Ljbffr
