Operations Project Manager II

Job Summary The Ops Project Manager II leads and supports assigned projects and initiatives of medium to high complexity, applying project management methodology to support the company and group’s strategy. Manage assigned projects through the stages of the project lifecycle, from concept to launch, including developing SOW, business proposals, functional requirements, project plans with milestones, and implementation plans. Provide management and guidance toward successful collaboration with multi‑functional groups and direct the project team responsible for implementing Jabil’s strategies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Define concise goals and objectives within a project framework. Ensure all project requirements and objectives are correctly gathered, understood, and properly translated for execution. Define and recognize project Key Performance Indicators and manage the work within scope, quality, time, and cost constraints. Conduct project risk reviews and appropriate mitigation. Facilitate communication among all stakeholders and raise issues to the next level of management as needed. Collaborate in determining forecast project budget and staffing needs for current and future site requirements. Accountable for overall project success ‑ including cost, schedule, quality, and scope management. Accountable for customer satisfaction, both internal and external, to project success. Lead strong multi‑functional teams to achieve company and/or customer objectives. Understand and exceed customer needs and expectations. Identify creative, cost‑effective corrective actions. Utilize tools to track changes and identify cost impact for review with senior management. Provide feedback to the project team and leaders on cost concerns. Drive the wider team to continuously improve key operational metrics and achieve project and organizational goals. Develop and own the project plan, establishing a roadmap with clear dates and deliverables. Provide regular project updates to the project team, relevant departments, stakeholders, project champions, and senior leadership as needed. Work with stakeholders to define project road maps and deliverables. Clarify and communicate project objectives and success criteria. Maintain communications with customer personnel and senior management as needed. Ensure all sensitive and confidential information is handled appropriately. Facilitate communication and education for all interested parties as deemed necessary. Manage cross‑divisional, cross‑functional, and cross‑cultural teams. Build and structure integrated teams for maximum performance, providing direction and motivation. Provide mentorship and coaching to project team members, giving and receiving both written and verbal feedback. Identify and prepare proposals that close gaps and mitigate risk. Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position, as directed by supervisor. Comply with all procedures within the company security policy. May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Job Qualifications Knowledge Requirements Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to lead strong multi‑functional teams toward company and customer objectives. Organizational skills for clear verbal and written communication in an appropriate business style. Ability to present information effectively to management and/or customer personnel. Responsive to inquiries or complaints in a timely manner. Develop and implement strategies that contribute to the overall company and group strategic direction. High performance orientation, detail orientation, market knowledge, and sound judgment. Ability to build and leverage partnerships, implement change, and manage projects. Proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and e‑mail. Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil’s integrated software system such as SAP. Education & Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree required. Minimum of 5+ years of experience. Desired experience in management or supervisory role. Minimum of 1 year’s experience leading projects or in project management.
