Through a respectful, inclusive and collaborative culture, a career at Flex offers the opportunity to make a difference, invest in your career growth and join our purpose - to make great products that create value and improve people’s lives.Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Product Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager, Product Engineer role involves receiving, analyzing, cleaning, and customizing all technical information/documentation from the customer related to his product, derived from a New Product Introduction (NPI) or a design change to establish all necessary processes to manufacture it by maintaining its design and performance integrity.What a typical day looks like:- BOM's Management and Implementation.- Engineering Change Management and Implementation.- Definition of Manufacturing Process Routes.- Technical Support to CFTs (Customer Work Teams).- Management and Control of Drawings and Product Specifications.- Leading work meetings.- Support production by assessing product engineering issues of diverse scope that arise on production line.- Interact with customer and various departments on product related issues - engineering changes, new model development.- Suggest modification to work instructions, material or product changes to ensure superior quality of products.- Participate to cost reduction activities in areas like material, inventory, and scrap reduction.- Provide training to the debug technicians and develop better understanding of the product.The experience we’re looking to add to our team:- BA/BS or equivalent work experience.- Experience in similar position in electronic manufacturing environment.- Expertise in NPI- Experience in Product Lifecycle systems (Agile, Arena, Procom) and MRP System (SAP, Baan).- Advanced English communication skills (verbal and written)- Experience using Floor shop systems.- Knowledge in personnel management experience in ECO´s implementation- Knowledge in creating and reading BOMs.- Leadership - Work team management experience.What you’ll receive for the great work you provide:- Competitive Salary.- Life & Medical insurance.- Christmas Bonus.- Food Coupons.- Saving Fund.AD80Job CategoryProduction Engineering
