MCAD/PLM Support Engineer is responsible to Support and maintain Vertiv Global systemsJob Responsibilities:- Design for Manufacturability & Cost by using tools like aPriori or Boothroyd Dewhurst- Provide MCAD Support on PTC Creo Platform and Oracle Agile EC to product designers across globe- Perform software installation, upgrades and testing, report software bugs.- Provide CAD system administration support.- Create and deploy CAD package for end users.- Create and maintain standard and Training documents.- Participate in ongoing technical support efforts focusing on the Oracle Agile and Cloud PLM Platform- Gathers requirements from Design Engineers, Supply Chain, Program Management, Manufacturing Engineers and develops technical solutions impacting these stakeholders.Qualification and Experience:- BE - Mechanical \ Automobile or Equivalent- 3 + years technical Support experience in Creo or similar tools is must.- 3 + years’ Experience in any PLM tool is must.- Knowledge of manufacturability & product cost saving tools and processes is a plus- Work Experience with PTC, Oracle, Siemens technical support- Knowledge of Model Based Design.- Design and product development knowledge with strong interpretation of 3d and 2d Model.- Basic programming and scripting knowledge in C, C++ or any platform is plus.- Creo/toolkit knowledge is plus.- Knowledge of IT Hardware and Software- Knowledge ECAD tool (like Mentor Graphic) is plus.- Software License management skill is plus.- Excellent oral and written communication and demonstration skills in English.- Experience working in geographically diverse environments.- Passionate in Problem solving with strong desire to learn /grow and collaborate.
