We’re looking for a Lead Hardware Engineer who moves with intention. Someone who thrives at the intersection of hardware, wellness, and design. Someone who can take a concept with potential and shape it into a functional, elegant prototype. What you will do Lead the development of Lumysi’s first functional hardware prototype Source and evaluate chipsets, sensors, PCB vendors, and component suppliers Collaborate with design and engineering teams to integrate electronics into jewelry‑grade form factors Manage and negotiate with manufacturing partners (CNC, SLM, injection molding, assembly, etc.) Own product timelines, feasibility, and rapid iteration cycles Drive testing, validation, and refinement Build early development systems and documentation Work closely with founders and operate with autonomy, clarity, and speed What we’re looking for Experience developing hardware prototypes for wearables, IoT, or health‑tech Deep understanding of sensors, MCUs, BLE, and PCB design workflows Familiarity with chip suppliers and component sourcing Comfortable managing manufacturers and coordinating production steps Experience in dynamic environments where adaptability and problem‑solving are essential Fluent in English A strong desire to build technology that will redefine an entire category Nice to have Experience with wellness wearables Knowledge of high‑precision or medical‑grade sensors Appreciation for design and detail Joining Lumysi means contributing to a vision that blends engineering with artistry.
