Mighty Buildings is a venture-backed construction technology company based in Oakland, CAWe are disrupting the construction industry by creating beautiful, sustainable, and high-quality homes using 3D printing, advanced materials, and robotics automation.**What We're Looking For**:We are looking for a Construction Manager to join Mighty Buildings' New Products Team.Mighty Buildings' product offerings are expanding and we're hiring to increase the capacity of our New Products Team.This role works cross-functionally with teammates from architecture, business development, manufacturing, and other skill sets to bring our new home products to life and meet core success metrics such as profit margin, time to market, and homes sold. The right person for this role can identify product improvements and new product opportunities, and has helped to develop a new architectural product previously in their career.**What You'll Be Doing**:- New product discovery, including strategic thinking and searching for new product opportunities.- New product development and current product improvement, including constructability reviews, cost estimating, construction scheduling, and oversight of Mighty Buildings' newest residential product line. Collaborative preparation of product roadmaps and product requirements documents for new product lines.- Prototyping, including coordinating constructing crews, site logistics, budgeting, scheduling, and performing QA/QC.- Maintenance of Business projects, such as creating guidelines for the prototyping process, developing QA/QC standards, etc.- Establishing and maintaining strategic partnerships with external general contractors.- Contributing to our culture of creativity and excellence - striving to solve problems in new ways while maintaining an agile and adaptive working style that promotes initiative, accountability, and quick iteration, learning, and revision_._**What's Required**:- A startup mindset: A proven ability to be resourceful, self-sufficient, and passionate about innovation in the prefabricated construction space. A self-starter who takes initiative and responsibility for their work and actions. Comfort working in a flat organizational environment.- Bachelor's degree in Building Construction, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture.- 5-7 years of experience in construction management, preferably in California or Florida.- Experience with prototyping and creating mock-ups.- Comfort reading and understanding blueprints and drawings.- Proficiency in Cloud Office Tools like Google Documents and Sheets, familiarity with Procore and Bluebeam.- High degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions.- Demonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles- Expert verbal and written communication skills, both internally with team members and externally with clients and consultants.- Fluent in English.**Nice-to-Haves**:- Experience with 3D printed construction or innovative materials and assemblies.- Experience with BIM software environment and BIM integration process.- Fluency in Spanish or Russian.
