**Job Summary**:Responsible to overall coordination of entering purchase requisitions into the ERP (QAD) and/or DSSI software tools and monitoring of the approval routes to achieve the creation of the purchase orders for the NA Engineering Department. Inspect that all purchase orders under $5K USD contain data that clearly describes the purchase. Responsible for overall procurement of cut, sew, wrap materials in support of prototype and pre-production materials that are designated to ship to YFAI Mexico.**Responsibilities**:- Procure needed supplies/material using DSSI ordering system. Request quote on products, research unique requests for best cost and timing, and initiate orders.- Enter in Purchase Order requisitions for Product Engineering. Purchases span prototype tooling, prototype parts, 3rd party labor and technical services- Creates and submits Price Change Requests (PCR) and revisions to existing PO’s.- Act as role of buyer on orders under $5K USD and ensure requirements are met before approving PO Requisitions- Create Purchase Orders and send the PO’s to the requestor in a timely fashion- Contact approvers as needed to resolve PO’s that are stuck in a waiting cue- Escalate issues when PO’s are not getting approved- Submit IT tickets when cause for PO issuance issuances are related to the tools (QAD/BPM)- Responsible for teaching the requestors how to create the purchase requisition requests, coaching employees when incorrect/incomplete information is received.
