**Job Details****What will you do?**Working under the framework of Johnson Controls Continuous Improvement system, will assess current state performance, identify gaps, visualize and establish a plan to get to the future state, monitor progress and share/acquire best-in-class ideas and systems.**How will you do it?**1. Responsible for the Best Business Practice (BBPs) system within the plant. Identifies gaps in Conversion Cost Metrics from BBPs, and then work with all levels of the plant in establishing and executing a strategy for improving them.2. Responsible for the implementation plan of the Johnson Controls Manufacturing System tools, as well as all the actions towards creating a culture and use of this tools at all the plant departments.3. Assess the Current state of the plant’s Operations; Develop Future State vision and drive and monitor the implementation plan.4. Collaborate with leadership to develop a plant CI Roadmap, driving breakthrough or Best-in-Class performance that balances resources between internal plant efficiency and external customer-focused effectiveness projects through 1. Just Do It improvements, 2. Six Sigma projects, and 3. Lean Implementation projects.5. Is accountable to deliver the plant annual CI savings, BBPs and JCMS goals.6. Establishes CI Profit Plan and subsequent Forecast goals. Drives team to achieve the corporate goals. Responsible for creating the project planning and identify new project opportunities.7. Using standard tracking and reporting systems, will prepare detailed plans, drive project performance, and assure timely completion and achievement of product / process quality, and savings goals.9. Ensures Process Owner involvement in projects development and Management Team leadership of their CI efforts within their departments. Assists Process Owners in identifying barriers to project success and helps to drive changes when needed.10.Responsible for IDP and succession planning.11.Document improvement process learning and shares best practices with other CI Managers and Black Belts.12.Assist Operations manager in any strategic initiative that will help in compliance to standards, implementing new systems, and designing creative solutions that will continuously improve the plant.13.Participate for the Suggestion Box System at the plant, including implementation of suggestions that require process changes.25.Responsible for developing and presenting the plant capital expenses plan each year. Manage and drive all investments projects and its leaders to complete all capital projects to budget and to schedule.26.Develop CARs necessary to support the new product implementation, major process changes and new technology.27.Responsible for capacity and footprint planning analysis, as well as define capacity under foot print requirements for the volume projected above.28. Participate in EHS, Quality & JCMS observations program.29. Ensure EHS, Quality & JCMS goals and metrics are established in GPAS for all employees.30. Knowledge in Control Plan, PFMEA and process flow.**Qualifications - External****What we look for?**Engineering degree in mechanical or related field with minimum of 5years of related experience is required.Has demonstrated high-level performance in current and previous positions.Has shown initiative, the desire to drive change and is motivated to exceed expectationsHas strong leadership skills and able to manage both vertically and horizontallyHas demonstrated effective interpersonal skills and the ability to exercise influence without authority.Ability to work under constrained time scales and demanding work loads.English 80%
