Overview:**Recruiter -** Lorena Padilla**Position reports to**: Dave Dammertz**Work schedule**: Hybrid, going to the office in GDL for 3 daysSTATEMENT:The Cloud Engineer III is responsible for designing, testing, implementing, and supporting all cloud activities and infrastructure. This role provides consultation and direct technical support in life cycle planning, problem management, integration, and configurationDETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:Level III- Supports cloud migrations efforts- Ability to resolve cloud related tickets and requests- Provides technical documentation- Prepares and reviews cloud governance and security protocols- 2nd level support and analytical skills for hybrid cloud environments- Rightscaling based on effectiveness for cloud cost optimization- Designs cloud governance and security processes that aligns with the global GTS policies- Provides technical advice and cloud expertise- Stabilize and standardize hybrid cloud environments based on the global standards- Advise on automation and orchestration technologies- Recommends new cloud solutions and drives implementation of new projectsJob Qualifications:Skills Required- Experience working with Google GCP- Experience working with IaC- Strong communication skills in English- Deep and broad general IT knowledge and hands-on experience in different areas such as networking, infrastructure, security, solutions architecture, and design, etc.- Strong programming skills and fluency with scripting languages (e.g., Terraform, Python, Shell)- Strong Knowledge and proven experience in setting up, securing, and managing cloud infrastructure- Demonstrated knowledge of cloud provisioning and administration, cloud disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies, as well as performance measurement and monitoring in the cloud- Solid understanding and proven practical experience with GCP and Azure policy designCertificates / Training:- Preferred: GCP, Azure, AWS and/or other Cloud CertificationsExperience Level III- 5+ years of cloud engineering experience or equivalent- Preferred: 7+ years of experience in an IT, EngineeringEducation Required:- Bachelor's in Information Technology or related fieldPrinciples & Related Competencies:Ethical- Complies with policies and procedures; Takes the high road and upholds our values; Maintains confidentiality; Acts with integrity, honesty and respect.Leader- Meets challenges head on to uphold quality standards, productivity goals, and values; Sets an example, building a culture of trust, transparency, and open communication; Is aligned with organizational directionCollaborative- Works cooperatively with others offers and accepts help; Freely shares information as appropriate; Open to and willing to provide feedback; Strong contributor to the team’s results; Celebrates the individual and the team; Ability to clearly communicate.Looks Beyond Oneself- (Team Player) Demonstrates humility and willingness to recognize and give credit to others; Works well alongside people of different backgrounds and ideas; Builds good relationships with others; Values Distributors and teammates.Drives Innovation- Add value through: Proposing ideas and creative solutions to employee, distributor and/or customer challenges; Listening to and respecting others ideas through collaborating and helping develop those suggestions; Driving ideas forward to implementation.Delivers Change- Delivers Change Through: Adapting to different working environments; Responding positively to change including new duties and assignments.
