Role Purpose Corning Inc. is deploying SAP enterprise software to replace legacy ERP systems. This position will partner closely with businesses, IT ERP team, and Finance ops teams to drive SAP control deployment, standardization, and value realization. Key Responsibilities Develop deep understanding of SAP controlling processes to serve as a critical resource for business deployments. Provide support to business finance deployment teams: data loads/validation, testing scripts, documentation, project workshops. Understand TPM (transformation process map) and procedures; ensure end‑to‑end deployment compliance. Assess existing deployments for gaps and steer improvements (process changes, training, system enhancements). Tackle diverse issues beyond specific domains, contributing to broad finance digital transformation initiatives. Support other initiatives: OneStream deployment, reporting/analytics, data visualization. Conduct training on process and system. Act as project advocate, building enthusiasm within the function. Required Experience and Education Rigor, structured thinking, process oriented, detail oriented. Strong sense of ownership. Preference for straight‑forward solutions over complex ones. High energy, ability to manage multiple priorities independently in fast‑changing environment. 4‑year degree in Business, IT, or STEM. People & Business Skills Cross‑cultural and cross‑functional awareness. Challenge status quo with data and propose rational change. Experience in manufacturing plant (plant controller) and cost controlling (preferred). Process mapping (SIPOC), large data set analysis. Communication: concise writing and presentation. Desired Experience Experience with SAP controlling functions, SAP S/4HANA preferred. 2+ years in finance controlling role in manufacturing organization. Up to 25% travel.
