You will design and maintain scalable backend systems powering LLM-driven applications using OpenAI APIs, ensuring high performance and reliability. Responsibilities Develop and optimize backend services for AI and LLM applications Integrate and scale LLM-based applications within cloud environments Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes Monitor and optimize the performance of AI services Ensure observability and maintain logging systems for LLM API tracking Collaborate with DevOps and AI/Data Science teams to enhance system reliability Manage cloud infrastructure, preferably Azure, for hosting AI applications Design and develop APIs and microservices to support AI-powered features Requirements 3+ years of experience in machine learning engineering with a backend focus Proficiency in OpenAI APIs and AI service integration Expertise with MLOps and CI/CD tools such as Orion, ArgoCD and Opsera Skilled in monitoring and observability tools including Grafana, Dynatrace, and ThoughtSpot Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, and technologies like Apache Spark and Databricks Advanced Python programming skills and microservices architecture knowledge Excellent English communication skills at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level Nice to have Knowledge of data science methodologies Experience with natural language processing techniques Familiarity with OpenAI API usage and features We offer International projects with top brands Work with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peers Employee financial programs Paid time off and sick leave Upskilling, reskilling and certification courses Unlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000+ courses Global career opportunities Volunteer and community involvement opportunities EPAM Employee Groups Award-winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and LinkedIn #J-18808-Ljbffr
