Location: Latin America, Mexico, Tijuana- Ref: INTERCONNECTLATAM00405- Division: Smiths Interconnect- Job Function: Engineering**Job Description**:Duties & Responsibilities- Define, monitor, analyze and continuously improve the supplier quality performance of the business unit both externally and internally through Performance Excellence activities.- Develop improvement plans utilizing DMAIC/LEAN methodologies and guide actions to drive improvement in Supplier’s KPIs (key performance indicators) and Supplier process capability- Coach, council, and mentor site level and business unit team, enabling supplier quality system and supplier management and goal improvements.- Lead continuous improvement in Supplier’s sites using Lean and Six Sigma methods. Lead and mentor teams in problem solving and root cause identification efforts.- Work with Global Quality Team to identify and implement global best practice.- Manage PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans and other supplier documentation submission for Global Strategic Suppliers.- Assist in new product and process qualification for both product performance and manufacturability throughout the New Product Integration process.- Travel requirement locally and in the US.Diversity & InclusionWe believe that different perspectives and backgrounds are what make a company flourish.
