He/She ensures product compliance to customer specifications, control production inventory and implement corrective action to prevent defective parts and scrap. Works with the team on the daily production attainment- Use of lean and 5's concepts to improve manufacturing processes**Duties and Responsibilities**:- In charge of monthly production schedule- It is responsible for the training of his subordinates- Promotes safety in the working areas by ensuring the production equipment is in safe working conditions- Follow the ISO9000:2015 procedures- Carries out autonomous maintenance of the equipment- Maintains and works with lean concepts- Take appropriate corrective actions to control the scrap- Maintains process efficiency at the stablished goal- Use of problems solving technics- Works with materials department to have the necessary components for the daily production plan- Accomplish special projects results by identifying and clarifying issues and priorities- Achieve plant cost targets- Achieve departmental goals (safety, quality, delivery and cost)- Administer corrective disciplinary actions as needed- Anticipate and communicates potential non-compliance events to managements- Participates on daily GEMBA walks- reports daily production attainment- Track employee performance**Skills and Experience**:- Team management and coaching- Process improvement- Quality control- Process efficiency- Leadership- Decision making- Strong communication skills both written and verbal- English 85% minimum- SAP knowledge- Self directed- Work under pressure- Team player- Computer literate (Excel, Word and Powerpoint)**Education**:- Bachelors Degree in Engineering General or Engineering Management**Relevant Industries**:
