Production Support Specialist We are seeking experienced professionals to support the stability and performance of complex Java applications. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with Java development, production support, and troubleshooting across multi-tier environments. Key Responsibilities Ensuring application stability and performance through proactive monitoring and issue resolution. Driving critical incident resolution and implementing effective problem management processes. Executing code fixes across various environments, including production. Required Skills & Qualifications Advanced Java / J2EE Expertise: Deep understanding of technologies like REST API, Servlets, JSP, JDBC, Struts, Hibernate, and Spring. Multi‑Tier Server Proficiency: Advanced experience working with and troubleshooting servers like Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere, and WebLogic. Database Mastery: Strong skills in database management and querying (DB2, Oracle, Sybase). Unix & Scripting: Mid‑to‑Advanced level knowledge of Unix and strong experience in modifying Shell / Perl scripts for operational needs. Support & Tooling: Good experience with job scheduler monitoring tools (Autosys, ProcMon, Crontab). Familiarity with production tooling and processes (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow) for Incident, Problem, and Change Management. Advanced experience with IDEs (Eclipse, NetBeans) and CI / CD tools (Git, Jenkins).
