Case Handler

**Job description****Duties and Responsibilities**:- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned cases- Communicate effectively with doctors, patients, health care entities to gather information, provide updates, and coordinate patient care- Ensure all necessary documentation and paperwork is completed in a timely and accurate manner- Assist in coordinating patient care and follow-up appointments.- Provide support and guidance to patients and their families throughout the case management process- Utilize case management software to track and document case progress.- Gathering medical reports- Getting insurance information from the defendant- Assisting in preparing settlement demands- Determining the extent of damage covered by the insurance policy, along with other basic litigation duties**Skills and Qualifications**:- Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Medicine or any related field- With 5 years of Case Management experience specifically in Personal Injury cases- Should have good command of the English and Spanish Language- With experience in customer service- Previous experience working in the legal field, especially in medical law or healthcare law, is a significant advantage.- Strong understanding of medical terminology, procedures, and relevant legal regulations.- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to critically evaluate medical records and complex medical information.- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration and client interaction.- Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness.- Ability to manage a high caseload while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.- Experience assisting doctors and patients in a healthcare setting- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
