Where no two days are the same.**YOUR ROLE**- Design and release of wire harness components including plastic shields, metal brackets and grommets to meet routing and retention requirements.- Design and modification of 3D models in CATIA- Design 2D engineering and manufacturing drawings per EDS guidelines- Cost and quality tracking- Suppliers management for product/process qualification (PPAP agreement)- Design for manufacturing following DFMEA, boundary diagram, clash avoidance and design rules- Generate part numbers, create RFQs- Manage tooling manufacturing with suppliers to meet requirements**YOUR PROFILE**- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics engineering or equivalent- 4-6 years of relevant experience- Experience in 3D and 2D design with CATIA v5 and 6- Experience in communicating with technical stakeholders to collect and clarify requirements- Experience with PPAP managing suppliers for automotive products delivery- Experience with DFMEA- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills- Experience in plastic and metal parts design- Experience with PLM SW such as Teamcenter- Experience with wire harness parts- Experience with automotive 3D and 2D design guidelines**What You’ll Love About Working Here**- At Capgemini Engineering, we encourage flexibility in how, when, and where people get their work done, allowing a better work-life balance, and greater empowerment.
