Join our MAHLE team #StrongerTogether- **Your Contribution**:- The Buyer for NPM Purchasing is responsible for procurement of required Information Technology and Telecommunications (IT/TK) related goods and services within the Facilities & Facility Services Regional Category Team, serving stakeholders across the North America region.-- Develop and manage a regional supplier strategy with strong emphasis on cost management, maximizing global synergies and improving quality and delivery performance; the creation and proposal of budgets for various commodities and cost avoidance targets for affected Business Units is included.- Closely partner with affected locations regarding supplier panels, new technologies & cost savings activities for assigned programs; manage savings projects through implementation.- Issue RFQ's (Request for Quote) and associated purchase orders. Negotiate with target/preferred suppliers for best cost, quality, delivery, and contractual terms and conditions, related to supply.- Comply with all applicable laws/policies governing the buyer/seller relationship and conduct business in an ethical way to represent the company in the best possible manner.- Manage lease portfolio of companies leased IT/TK devices coordinating with supplier, stakeholder, and accounts payables for smooth procure-to-payment process.- Review current processes and procedures strategically and propose improvements to include maximizing eProcurement and automation.- Other duties may be assigned.**Your Experience & Qualifications**:- 2+ years of related purchasing experience in Information Technology/Telecommunication is required. Previous experience in a tier-1 environment preferred.- Strong negotiation, financial cost analysis, market analysis, continuous improvement, problem solving, time and project management skills is required.- Demonstrated ability to successfully work with cross functional teams, including the ability to build alliances, in a regional, changing environment to deliver value-added results.- Proven ability to work under high pressure and tight deadlines, while able to manage/lead multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.- Strong communications skills, both oral and written.
