Engineer in this position will be responsible to validate interior trim components as part of PD department.Competencies and technical knowledge:- Bachelor in Electrical-Electronic / Mechatronics / Automotive / Aeronautic Engineering.- Basic automotive background.- Main vehicle components function knowledge.- Solid basis regarding testing, measurement and instrumentation.- Advanced english proficiency.- Good written & oral communication skills.- Excellent communication with technician personnel to assign and delegate tasks.- Teamwork coordination skills.Additional skills:- Testing normative knowledge (ASTM/ISO)- Material testing experience.- Mechanical testing experience.- Testing equipment experience and usage.- Automation/Electronic skills desirable.- Pneumatic skills desirable.- Software and programs: Office, Matlab, LabView, Catia V5 or similar software knowledge.Engineer in this position will be responsible to implement engineering solutions for PD testing needs involving Interior Trim components, resolving complex set-ups and establishing best-in-class testing performance practices.
