Teacher Assistant

The American School Foundation is looking for a Teacher Assistant for the Lower School, if you are passionate about education and want to start your career in the best school in Mexico, this is your opportunity to join us**Requirements**:- Must be Bilingual: English and Spanish, preferably with a certification to teach in English.- University-level coursework in child development, education and/or psychology.- Mexican Citizenship**Responsibilities**:- Assist the Teacher in helping students to understand and develop their PYP learner profile and contribute to significant learning experiences.- Supervise students in routine activities such as recess, art, technology, library, the Kitchen Program and car and bus dismissal duties.- Conduct tasks of taking attendance, ensuring the readiness of the learning environment and small group activities.- Prepare classroom materials for daily use.- Plan and put up bulletin boards displaying the students’ work.- Reinforce school policy, limit setting, safety rules and procedures.- Assist the students in personal hygiene skills and care for minor injuries.- Help to clean up after lunch and classroom activities.- Support extracurricular activities and attend school-related events.Availability to start working on October 2024.Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSueldo: $30,153.00 al mesBeneficios:- Seguro de vida- Vales de despensaTipo de jornada:- Lunes a viernes- Turno de 8 horasEscolaridad:- Licenciatura terminada (Deseable)Experiência:- Asistente de maestro: 1 año (Deseable)Idioma:- Inglés Avanzado (Obligatorio)Lugar de trabajo: Empleo presencial
