By hiring the best and brightest minds—and that’s why we want you**What will you work on?**Reporting to Manager, Manufacturing Engineering and responsible for packaging material and structure related manufacturing executions.**How will you create impact?**- Resolve packaging structure issues to achieve optimal cost benefit through collaboration among product development teams, manufacturing vendors and packaging suppliers- Manage update and publish packaging specifications- Approve packaging structure during final prototype stages- Ensure adherence of packaging development lead-time to product development cycle- Develop purpose driven packaging structure solutions to product development teams located in North America, Mexico and Europe- Support research and deployment of new packaging materials and processes- Support process improvement creation and implementation in the Packaging area to closely mirror existing Spin Master processes- Some travel to client sites will be required**What are your skills and experience?**- Experience in manufacturing packaging engineering / structural design field- Proficient in using CAD software to create packaging dieline (like Artios CAD, illustrator, etc.)- Knowledge in packaging materials such as pulp, paper and plastics- Understanding in packaging costing components- Good command of English and communication skills, Spanish fluency- #LI-Remote #LI-HM1_**What you can expect from us**:Our mission is to Make Life More Fun with a vision to push the boundaries of innovation, creativity, and fun.- Growth and Career Opportunities- Flexible Work Hours- Innovation, Collaboration and Fun- Comprehensive Benefits- Other fun Perks**What’s it like to work here?**Spin Master is a fast-paced, hands-on organization that provides many great opportunities for impactful decision-making; though our challenging start-up atmosphere isn’t for everyone, we have a proven record of opportunities for future advancement and internal transfers for our passionate and results driven team.Everyone is welcome in our sandbox and we are committed to an accessible and inclusive hiring process that provides reasonable accommodation to all applicants.- We do appreciate all interest; however only those selected for interview will be contacted._
