Responsibilities Use a variety of languages in order to create user-friendly web pages and applications Define visual interfaces that adhere to and extend wireframes, prototypes and specifications Build, maintain and improve company and client websites and applications Optimize websites and applications for maximum speed, usability, and accessibility Actively seek to understand business requirements to develop solutions Keep up to date on the latest and emerging technologies as it relates to the position Use strong problem-solving skills with the drive to find solutions prior to escalation Work in a creative environment with a team of other professionals Qualifications 8+ years of experience as a Front-End/UI Developer Strong experience with HTML, CSS, CSS preprocessing such as Sass or LESS, JSON and Bootstrap 4 or Material UI Strong understanding of React/Redux Strong understanding of other JS Frameworks Understanding of front-end build tools, and version control (Git/GitHub) Ability to mentor other UI Developers and communicate with global teams Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on success Strong critical thinking, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills A positive and friendly attitude Great interpersonal and communication skills System Soft Technologies is an equal employment opportunity employer.
