We hope that you\'ll be interested in joining us The role We are looking for an analytically-minded and detail-oriented individual to be a founding member of our Mexico City office on the Customer Data Services team. This is an opportunity to help build a team at a growth-stage start-up that works with the world’s top companies to accelerate their sustainability programs. You’ll work hands-on with customer business data, transforming it to fit our templates — enabling our customers to gain clear, reliable insights into their sustainability impact. You will: Clean and transform customer business data into Watershed templates to reduce customer friction and drive time-to-value Interface with customers to understand their raw data and work with them on solutions and best practices Leverage judgment to assess, advise, and execute on data cleaning best practices. Rigorously document decisions to ensure traceability of data manipulations during 3rd-party verifications Synthesize customer experiences and feedback to drive continuous improvement of our work and inform product development You might be a fit if you: Have 1-3 years of experience working in a data analyst, business analyst, or similar role. Have experience working with large datasets in Excel or SQL. Have good intuition for how numbers in a spreadsheet map to the real world. You translate abstract problems into concrete data frameworks. Are excited to interface with customers. You have high customer empathy and want to help them achieve their outcomes Are a strong written and verbal communicator. You can concisely communicate externally to non-technical audiences. Are a low ego team player with a strong sense of ownership. You are driven by team goals and bias for action in order to achieve them. Have strong English language proficiency This position is required to be in person in our Mexico City office 4 days per week. Must be willing to work from an office 4 days per week (except for remote roles) Watershed has hub offices in San Francisco, New York, London, and Mexico City and satellite offices in Sydney, Paris, and Berlin. Where we have offices, employees are expected to be in office for 4 days per week. Certain jobs are open to being remote and will be specifically noted on the jobs page and in the job description if so. What’s the interview process like? It starts the same for every candidate: getting to know the team members through 1 to 2 conversations about Watershed, your experience, and your interests.
